D.M.,
While you are correct in the original context, Joe O'Brien does in fact call his workout regimen for this time of year "boot camp" as it does serve the same purpose in a way. Also, I believe you need to re-read the "Disappointed with Lack of Common Respect" post again. If you have any issues with how Joe O'Brien is handling the situation, which he or I couldn't have spelled out any more clearly, you are more then welcome to call Joe up instead of whining on a message board. He has a phone number and email listed, and you are more then welcome to call him. With the military history of Joe's family, I think if he chooses to call it "Boot Camp", he is just fine in doing so.
The basketball players do not need to make a public apology, nor do they need to apologize to me, nor you. Honestly, I was right there and didn't see anything or hear anything that would make me think something was amiss. I did notice the visiting team chuckling. Apparently they haven't sent over an apology neither.
The lack of respect thing is so over and done with....it has been handled.
