Randy Bennett, head coach at St. Marys. :check:

Serious?? Now we need to worry about St. Mary's taking Randy, i'm sure that they have an assistant waiting in the wings though. It is the non successful programs that we have to worry about. WYOMING??

  Just chill out and enjoy that fact that Randy Rahe is still coaching at WSU for now.

coach Rahe is a great guy and he's on the right track, but only hard core weber fans think he's something special.he has the cats competitive every year, but they have'nt been all that dominant.postseason games are losses and when has weber had a great win against anyone outside the conference? he'll get there, and i think the big wins will come, but right now i think he's safe at weber.

The only reason us as WSU fans should be worried that Boylen got fired is that now they might actually have a good coach who will actually recruit some local players for a change. I still can't believe WSU lost to the Mutes this year. :ohno:

Utah produces maybe 1 PAC 12 level player a year in basketball, maybe 2 in a great year. The new Utah coach better be able to recruit Cal and Texas, because he won't win with Utah players. I think Weber is safe.

I personally saw Boylen observe Mike Brown put up 20 and 22 against the Dallas Mustangs and California Pump N Run in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, two of the best AAU teams in the west with several D-1 recruits on each team and not offer Mike. We should count ourselves fortunate that Boylen was at the helm for Utah this year.

Looks like the Utes finally got LK. Aggie and Wildcat fans can take a breath for now.

I liked LK as a player, as a coach at Montana, and I think he is a person of great charicter. The only down side to all of this is that he has taken on a formidable task. Some would look at that team and say that they have a lot of tallent. I look at that team and see nothing more than a bunch of primadonas. To me, he has a total rebuilding job on his hands. He may well be in a no win situation. It could take 5 or 6 years to get that thing back on track. I just don'r know that he will be given that kind of time. The Crimson Club may be calling for his head after 2 subpar seasons.

Good Luck Larry. :coffee:

Seems like a good hire for them... not sure how great of a recruiter Krystowiak is, but he can sure coach, and he will bring credential from his time in the NBA as a player and assistant coach. Nice step up from Boylen for them.

The Utes are evolving. 20 years ago they had a tub of lard. Now, the leaner meaner Utes have a can of Crisco.

Some of those that bleed Crimson are calling for his and Hill's heads already, and he hasn't even coached a proctice session yet.

They are lucky they could get anyone to take that position at any wage. :ohno:

Ute fans don't deserve a team at all. Its been quite a competition, but the Utes may be winning the battle for most despised team in the State of Utah. This competition has been taking place in the stands, not on the field of play! :tothehand:

The ewtes have been the big fish of the MWC pond for a while (not basketball), and they got their wish...they are part of the PAC12 now. I think they will get use to losing, if not now, they will in the future.
