SAN JOSE, CA
3-New Mexico (MWC)
14-Weber St (Big Sky)
6-Marquette
11-Utah State (WAC)

.....ya, right....
a. usu played marquette last yr in 1st rd.
b. both usu/wsu in same tkt pair? lol
c. both of us in san jose? not likely

in 2003 us and byu were both in spokane but not in the same bracket, we didnt get to see each other play. we were both 12 seeds that yr.

If i have my fact straight, I believe the 2 BIGGEST 1st round NCAA upset victories in our program were against Michigan St. and North Carolina. I believe we were a 14 seed both times. I kinda like the karma that that brings. (just one man's superstitious tendencies)

Updated today ESPN and bracketology 101(which has been the most accurate the last four years) both have us in San Jose Weber St. #14 vs. #3 New Mexico. As of now it looks likely we'll be a #14 and most likely #3 seeds are these 5 teams New Mexico, Pitt, Temple, Villanova, Michigan St. I hope we are in San Jose or Spokane, but the problem with that is if we stay out West we have a higher chance of playing New Mexico, I think. I would rather play Temple, Nova, Pitt, or my favorite Michigan St. If it meant staying out West I would rather play New Mexico.

I don't think there is a snowballs chance in hell the NCAA puts Weber as a 15. Back to Back championships, Conference RPI has drastically improved. Weber's RPI is decent.
