Brian is at his best when he knows where his primary receiver is going to be. He setup his touchdown pass to Kirkland by telling him to stay in his "a" route and that is where he hit Tremanye for the score. Mouse had said that White does not read the routes as well as Tygue Howland, which leads me to think that the problem is not just due to the defensive rush and is a contrubutor to the number of sacks. Brian has proven himself to be tough, accurate and strong-armed and will be great in Mouses's offense once he starts reacting instantly to the developing play. The sooner this happens the better.

I sure like his passion. That run that he scored on really showed some heart. Sure, we're a big hit away on our QB from this season going down in flames, but he was not going to be denied getting into the endzone on that play. The defender had a pretty good line on him, but White was was going to score. Period.

It's easy to cheer for a guy with leadership and heart.

No doubt as Glanville said "White is a man"!

I think white is the best QB ive seen in a Viking uniform since Justin Wood. The qb play has been holding the VIks back in recent years. I wanted white to Start the Montana, and Montana State game last year. Could have been a different season. He almost brought the Viks back against UM last year and he had to dig them out of a (bless his heart) Rob Freeman hole.

If Ty IS actually better than B-White the Viks will be hard to deal with in upcoming years but I do worry about a young player who has had 2 surgery's below the waste so early in his career, Surgery repairs but you never really fully recover.

I was so frustrated last year watching passes hit receivers in the wrong shoulder or over thrown. That does not happen with Brian. I, too, wish he had played more last year, maybe his reactions would be better now. I do not think he has a fatal flaw just one that if eliminated every Viking fan will be smiling come November..

He still needs to improve his decision making and quickness of decisions. He put a couple of balls in the dirt even with no pressure, I am thinking of the critical third down in the third quarter to a wide open Kirkland that was at his feet. It is still an improvement from some others we have had. i would love to hear that he is studying hard to be able to read defenses better and make quicker decisions. The touchdown run was a great score for the viks but to me it is one of those plays that you would expect a college QB to make, none the less still a great play.

Good point. I remember that play thinking, wow, he had time, and that ball wasn't tipped. Straight into the turf with a wide open TK. In White's defense, he was taking a pretty bad beating out there. We may set a record of consecutive games with our QBs helmet getting ripped off by a D lineman making a sack. I think we're 3-3 on the season. /users/31/07/37/smiles/618108.gif
