I wasn't always a fan of everything coach Mac brought to the table, but at least he had some loyalty and true commitment. I hope that Bovee didn't burn that bridge.

I think most reasonable people would see Weber as a step up from SUU, if even a small step. Higher pay, better facilities, much larger market and fan base, much more stability (50 years in the same conference), and so on. But I don't see Lamb as someone Weber would be banging down the door for anyways. It's not like Lamb has been tremendously successful (he has a losing record at SUU, 21-23).redrock said:Why would Lamb leave SUU for Weber? It Is a lateral move at best. Pay, facilities, budget, conference are all a wash. And oh yea we won last year! The only advantage might be reqruiting, but it is not like SUU has been loosing its reqruits to Weber the last few years. Living in Cedar is a much more attractive option than Ogden. He already told Weber he wasnt interested when Mac left, why in the world would he leave now for the mess you guys have up there. Sorry Cats but long gone are the days when Weber was a better option than SUU. See ya Oct 20th
