Sac State should ditched the color combinations and go back to the the Green and GOLD colors. Not green and white. I missed those uniforms.

I think the gold contrasted against the green looks good. The all green and white uniforms are kind of drab.
Why not bring back the old school Green Bay Packers type uniforms they wore until the late 70s?

I sent an email to Macriss during hoop season and mentioned that it'd be nice if the Hornets football uniforms had some gold trim instead of just that tad on the helmets and, with just the white and green we look like Michigan State instead of Sac State.
I think you guys that would like to see more gold trim should send him an email now, otherwise he'll never know that's what we'd like to see.

Whatever happened to wearing these new helmets? They displayed them earlier this year. I think these would look very cool with the yellow/gold jerseys they just wore against UIW.

The students of 1947 when Sac State was founded voted for Green and Gold. And they voted for Hornets as the mascot when the popular comic script back then was the Green Hornet. And Herky became the name of our mascot, short for Hercules. Thees are the facts no matter what everyone might say. I interviewed the student body president of 1947 and this is fact. He was there when all this happened and it needs to be honored. .
These are beautiful colors and need to be honored as our school colors.
