• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

BSC BB to Require 3 Home D1 Games

BSC to require all members BB programs to schedule a minimum of 3 home D1 games.

This will mean that programs will be forced into getting HnH contracts with programs they have avoided in the past. Teams on or below our level who could be a potential loss on the road or at home. Some teams could be forced to juggling up to 6 such contracts each year. Easier said than done. It will require teams to go places that they never would have considered before.

I think it is a move in the right direction and that it would work best if the entire NCAA D1 had a similar rule.

BSC admin said that they will help with this, but I feel that it will put a lot of pressure on a lot of programs. We will have to go places that we refused to go to in the past.

There will be added presure to maintain HnH contracts with other programs like UVU, SUU, USU, and UT. However, that still would only be 2 home games per year.
