Was a beast last night. Very impressive against a bigger team. I think we saw a full arsenal of different low post moves last night.

Ward isn't a very good Big and he is the future for the Grizz. Fulton destroyed him. But what was far more impressive was how he was able to play up against the flopping wonder Selvig. Flopper is 7' and couldn't guard Fulton. I found it really funny the UM would run their offense through Flopper. Does the Tinkle think that Flopper is the PG?

Weber's D on the two bigs was about as good as you can do. They played close enough to Selvig that he wasn't comfortable shooting but soft enough that he didn't have the passing lanes. He may be their best passer but we made it difficult for him to feed the low post. When he did get it in to the post, we doubled down quickly but got out of it quickly as well. The one that hurt us a little was the freshman wing, #0. We were less worried about him, until he hit three 3s in a row. The rest of their team looked like role players to me.

Kareem Jamar and Vaughn Autry (PG #0) are the two big freshman players that UM got. Jamar, doesn't look as good as he was billed as being, but that might be since he is returning from a mid-season injury. Autry, probably should have been redshirted. I think that it was a mistake to play him this season, but he looks like a good player. UM only has one SR Qvale (big loss no matter) on this years team, and Tinkle is a good recruiter. The problem is that his offense is stagnant. It reminds me a lot of Cravens defunct motion. If there is a speedy guard in the game it works a bit, since the guard can penetrate, but if there isn't it becomes stagnant.

As for Fulton. I really like how he has developed. He has a really nice fade away shot, and every once in a while gets an up and under shot in. Looking good.
