WSU doesn't have an updated roster on the web yet. So the fact that you don't see his name on there doesn't mean anything.

Its the 2009 Roster... http://www.weberstatesports.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=8600&SPID=3468&SPSID=39323.. His name isn't on it. This is the pre-camp roster. Yes, some names could be added, but right now, this is the team.

Yeah, when I checked it the other day I was shocked to see that it was the updated roster.

Lets remember that miracles still happen.

So if this is the updated roster am I then to assume that WSU didn't sign a single freshman or any junior college kids in Febuary. I guess that footbal signing party I went to didn't really happen since none of those guys are on the current "updated" roster.
Just because it says it is the 2009 roster it doesn't mean that it really is.

The roster on the web page has only been updated to remove last year's seniors. They have not added the new players. The updated roster in the Big Sky Media Guide is at the following URL:

http://www.bigskyconf.com/sports/football/2009/SECTION22009.pdf

This updated roster lists new players but as always is subject to change until the season starts.

Matt Ah You Transferring to Central Washington University

Briefs: Former BYU LB to transfer to CWU
By DAILY RECORD STAFF
ELLENSBURG — Former Brigham Young University linebacker Matt Ah You has decided to finish his football career at Central Washington University, according to KSL-TV in Provo, Utah.

Ah You, a 5-foot-11, 220-pound senior, played in all 13 games for the Cougars as a junior in 2008, including two starts at inside linebacker. He had 50 tackles on the season and one fumble recovery in his first year back from a mission trip in Philadelphia. Before his mission, Ah You played two years with BYU, in 2003 and 2004, totaling 18 games.

Ah You comes from a football family. His brother, C.J., is a defensive lineman with the St. Louis Rams of the NFL, and another brother, Jasen, is a coach at the University of Utah.

CWU had eight linebackers on its roster in the spring and lost just one starter at the position after last season: defensive co-captain Chris James. Ah You is the second Division I linebacker to have decided to transfer to CWU this offseason; senior Prince Hall decided to leave Alabama for CWU in May.

Neither Ah You nor Hall are yet enrolled at CWU and cannot participate in the Wildcats’ practices until they are. CWU’s first practice is scheduled for Thursday.

CWU almost beat montana last year in mizzula 38-35 i think it was. I wouldn't be suprised if they stuck it to Idaho state this year, I really hope Idaho state beats them though!
