UND dodged quality teams last year. What a break for Cal Poly indeed.

Just curious, other than not having EWU ... who did we dodge?

I like how no Eastern fans have responded to Siouxfan512, he has a great point after all. No one complained that Eastern avoided North Dakota.

I like how a Wildcat fan gives a rip what an EWU fan says about UND on an EWU message board.. EWU Fans din't say it I said it. The reason being they didn't play PSU (who was 9-3 going into the season), Montana and EWU...and you don't need to give the ole Montana isn't that good bull..they are always tough.

Because it's not about one game, but rather, the overall difficulty of the schedule.

9-3 in 2015, with one of those losses being a home loss .... to UND

and yes MT is generally a tough team, but they had a down year, and UND beat every team above them in the standings other than EWU. Again, in looking at LAST SEASON I fail to see where UND dodged teams.

Yes, if we didn't play EWU or MT every single year, I would agree, but last year that was just not the case. We played and beat the top half of the conference except for EWU. Who I do believe was a better team ... at least on paper. Obviously no way to know who would have won on a particular Sat. without playing.... but Gubrud/Kupp was a pretty crazy connection.

I'll agree with you. Overall difficulty went to EWU with the OOC schedule. But compared to the rest of the conference, UND didn't dodge any bullets. Played and beat the top half of the conference.
