Fun to be in the discussion of postseason play, especially after talks at preseason of coming in 11th or worse by many sites. Cal Poly presents us with a unique style with their triple option, so it will be interesting to see how our DC schemes for this smashmouth football. Our defense has improved and will need to be able to stop them a few times - we've had games where we didn't have but 1 or 2 punts the whole game so hoping we can them to punt 4 or more. Offensively, I think Boyer needs to open up the playbook and throw more than 12 times this week, this team is very good versus the run. With Riek and Cartegena possibly out again, getting the ball to our big playmakers (Deggs, Miller, Wesley, McCauley) in space will be huge, then pound them with Graham. Need to limit turnovers and penalties, nothing stupid. GO BEARS!
Here are some good sites on FCS playoff predictions - totally being discounted so I hope the guys get pumped up and fight like crazy!:

Northern Colorado (6-4, 4-3 Big Sky) at No. 24 Cal Poly (6-4, 4-3). The final FCS game to kick off Saturday night has a lot at stake. Cal Poly will get into the field of 24 with a win, while Northern Colorado will be a possibility. Quarterback Kyle Sloter has been a savior for UNC by stepping in for injured starter Jacob Knipp, but the Bears don’t defend the run enough to beat Cal Poly on the road.
Pick: Cal Poly

Northern Colorado (6-4, 4-3 Big Sky) at X-No. 21 Cal Poly (6-4, 4-3) - All the bubble teams will be glued to scoring updates from this final game of the FCS weekend. Cal Poly should be in the field of 24 with a win. Northern Colorado - not so much.

Big Sky Conference
› Montana State (3-7, 1-6) at No. 22 Montana (6-4, 3-4)
› Northern Colorado (6-4, 4-3) at No. 21 Cal Poly (6-4, 4-3)
› Weber State (6-4, 5-2) at Idaho State (2-8, 1-6)
Eastern Washington and North Dakota are heading to the playoffs. UND finished the conference slate unbeaten and EWU should do the same by winning Friday night at Portland State. The Mustangs’ resume looks the best out of the three teams vying for win No. 7 with victories over Pioneer League champ San Diego and South Dakota State and a head-to-head win over Montana. That win may very well be the deciding factor between Cal Poly and the Griz if they are fighting for one spot. The Wildcats joined the discussion with their victory over Cal Poly last week, but Weber State’s resume lacks the pop other teams are bringing to the table.
