• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

McCarthy did go down pretty early in the game, but I don't know what happened exactly. Hopefully nothing serious. Washburn was playing MLB most of the game.

how is Mitchell not a legit payton consideration? Or Edwards for that matter?

Also did Mccarthy go down in this game?

Mitchell still is, and could possibly finish in the top 3 in votes. The 12 INTs might keep him from winning it. The WR from ISU has more yards and TDs than Edwards, and even so, I don't think a WR has ever won the award.

Congrats on the win. Bo Levi-Mitchell is a stud. Looking forward to joining the Big Sky next year and playing many more big games with the Eagles. Good luck next week. Would be nice if we both can win and end 2011 with a winning record.

Thanks. He's either hit or miss, but usually more hit than miss. I don't think CP will have too much problem with South Alabama... they haven't really beaten any good teams. And they lost to Georgia State...

Hannah-
Just wondering if the trip to SLO was worth the expense? You and the coach are great Eagle fans, always positive. Did you notice that the three leading tacklers for the game will all be back next year. A lot of 'backups' were big contributors to the great win.

It's a tough trip (tougher for the team who flew into LA via Las Vegas, bussed to a practice field, then a 3 hour bus ride to their hotel on Friday; played on Saturday, bussed out at 3 AM Sunday morning to catch a 8 AM flight out of LA and got into Spokane at 3 PM). You either have to fly to San Jose or LA and drive 3 hours (or spend big bucks to fly into Monterrey). We opted to spend some vacation time in San Diego and saw TJ and the Raiders play the Chargers on Thursday. It's been a fun trip and there's lots to do in the area of San Luis Obispo so if possible would recommend that any one who makes the trip and spends the money, should plan to spend enough time to make it worthwhile.

Yep, I did notice that some guys stepped up. It was a heck of a game -- in some respects it was frustrating to see the DL take the dive, the LBs take the QB only to see the pitch guy get away. I think the pitch was supposed to be covered by the safety but we're so used to pass protect I can see how it is a tough adjustment. There were some exhausted guys on both teams, both sides of the ball (and tired fans too)! Now onto Idaho State!
