Nice strip and score, then shot block before the half to cut the deficit to single digits. Need to regroup and play smarter in the second half.

Griffin is always in foul trouble...our problem today is that we can't stop Fullerton and Umawhatever can't miss from downtown.

Yeah, they are damn talented offensively.
 
Well, we never really threatened in that one. That was a really good team, though. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them win the Big West.
 
I will say once again: stop fouling! It isnt enough to say, "We're playing hard." At some point you have to play hard but also play with some discipline - which means not fouling. It's one thing to foul that much against GU's big guys because we were so physically overmatched. But to get outshot from the FT line by over 20 against a Big West team is ridiculous. Coach needs to start running their ass in practice when they commit stupid fouls. Or sit em on the bench in the game. As I see it right now, our two biggest problems are the terrible/selfish shots that Chiverton takes, and our lousy defense/fouling. Coming up on Big Sky play, so we better get those corrected soon.
 
Just looked at the box score. Our post players need to do better. Chiverton didn't have a single assist or rebound in the entire game. Our team defense was horrid as Cal Fullerton shot 55% for the game. The team needs to play more as a team and play harder.

Spot on. Play hard but play smart! Got to use our "Basketball brain". Assists are a good indictication of team play - obviously lacking for this one :cry:
