How is the department going to follow up on all of the free tickets? Will they actually have schedules at the game? Some type of promotional that will inform the folks that there are other games scheduled this year? Something to tell the fans that this isn't the only football game this season?

Exactly! Does promotion for this game even exist? It's been extremely quiet. Why isn't this quality opponent and Hill's new reign of the program being shouted from the rooftops? Maybe they're working with Ogden City to try and keep people downtown. Maybe Weber doesn't want to create a conflict with those scheduled for an Ogden temple open house tour the same day. It really wouldn't surprise me if it were something beyond stupid like this. What's the pulse on campus? Is there ANY kind of buzz AT ALL? Do students even know there is a FB game Saturday? So sad!

If it was up to me, I would have had signs all over downtown Ogden promoting Weber State athletics. I would have created the basketball schedules just to hand out to the 750,000 people who have visited the Ogden Temple Open House. To me, once again, Weber missed out on an excellent opportunity to promote the department. Signs, schedules, posters, athletes, Waldo, free food and stuff, should have been all over the temple block, farrs, Ogden River Parkway, Junction, Weber County. Every business, and it doesn't matter what they sell, especially restaurants, should have had Weber State stuff in them. This to me is the biggest failure of athletics this summer. Athletics should have had players, cheer leaders, Waldo, coaches at every event all summer. Coaches luncheons for groups, parades, meeting with town leaders, be at fairs, but what do we get instead a lot of butt hole stinky excuses.

Nice, good to see something we just happen upon. I almost snapped and posted a pic too, yesterday evening at the South Ogden Market Fresh store on Washington. It wasn't that nice but it was a large Weber State poster in the outside window near the entrance.

Sam's Club in Riverdale was playing Weber Football highlights in some of their big screen tv's Saturday. hope to see more of the community get behind this team!

As I drop into the forum whenever I am able and read your posts, I find that the easiest thing to do is complain or criticize. I am reminded by to words of a great U.S. President that said in his inaugural address. "Ask not what Weber can do for YOU. Ask what YOU can do for Weber. "
Simply said ( so Weberski can understand), make suggestions not war.
