Can anyone fill me in on Dane Johnson?

Can anyone fill me in on Dane Johnson? Watched him play for DeSales in Columbus Ohio for 2 years, was checking on his status and saw he'd transferred from Western Oregon to Portland State as a walk-on. Any scoop on why he transfered? He was an amazing point guard for us, thought he might do real well in a mid to small school. What division are you? Sorry for my ignorance...don't know much about west coast schools.

He transferred from Western Oregon (Division 2) to Portland State (Division 1) and redshirted this past season. He is expected to be a back-up point guard next year, playing behind Dominic Waters and a JC transfer who has verbally committed but hasn't signed with the Vikings. Dane should get some playing time next year, but I'm not sure if he will be part of the regular rotation. Johnson will be a sophmore (RS) next year. Portland State has made the NCAA tournament the last two years and will be one of the favorites to win the Big Sky Conference again next season.
