• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Can I be the next head coach?

I can't possibly make this team any worse or get a worse record. I'll do it for half of what Collins is doing now. Win win, we save some money and we continue to be the joke of the big sky. But seriously, someone stop this nightmare. Is Collins going to have to hit Darren Dunn's kid before he finally gets the pink slip?

The problem is ultimately nobody really cares... this is about the least pressure job in the country, anywhere else you'd have been run out of town after that winless season a couple years ago... here you just hang on year after year because there isn't any pressure to win and nobody cares... it's sucks but it's the truth.

Kind of like the Colorado Rockies, just keep doing the same things year after year and never fire anyone...

Funny how that Monfort influence works. :coffee:

I think everyone in Bears land needs to curb our expectations that any coaching changes will be made. I just don't see Dunn pulling the trigger. Of course there are scenarios where something may occur. For instance...the A.D. may want a coordinator change (Boyer?) and Collins may refuse to make a change, thus Collins resigns, etc. I have zero inside information that may suggest this is what Dunn is thinking.

Nothing will happen unless people take action. Sitting back and complaining without making voices public or withholding funding dollars has no effect, thus they don't care. Look at any other school- it is very public and loud about the dissatisfaction with a coaching department's inability to win. For some reason, this has not occurred here. Let Kay Norton hear about it. Let the AD hear about it. Go to the press. Make it very public with what is happening and watch something happen....until that occurs- apathy breeds apathy.
