Carlo Trinchero LB

I heard he was kicked off the team over some incident involving a few players? He's not listed on the roster anymore. He was a starter at LB coming out Spring Ball. HHD can you get us any information, I don't want to speculate and I know you will get the story correct?

i too noticed his omission from the media guide roster...i heard (unconfirmed) that he and other players were walking onto the field before practice, which was still being used by the soccer team. apparently words were exchanged between Trinchero and someone with the Soccer Team (Coach, Assistant, Player?)the incident was reported up the pole to either Coach, AD, Prez, (someone with some authority), and Trinchero was asked to leave. heard he is appealing in some manner.

as i said, this is unconfirmed...others can correct me as this unfolds. if true, it's too bad - he had a great year ahead of himself.

Soccer has their own field and stadium, why use football's? Plus, words were said? That shouldn't be a ticket off the team, must be more to it. Grades?

If it was only words, why kick him off? What is he appealing? Sounded like he was going to contribute this season. Someone mentioned he knocked the QB's helmet off in the Spring game. I hope it works out form him, we lost alot from last years LB crew and that will be hard to replace.

Apparently Trinchero's appeal worked. He is scheduled to rejoin the team on Monday, and may be available for UNLV. If true, he will shore up our linebacking crew. Still don't know exactly what happened... :|

I know nothing. I did ask Coach Baiz about who he thought his starting LBs might be at the Dinner Under the Lights Saturday and CT's name didn't come up.

BTW, Dinner Under the Lights had somewhere between 500 and 600 people there this year versus 250 last year. I believe somewhere north of $75,000 was raised. It was a huge success and everyone seemed to have a great time. If you missed, start planning for next year!

You are spot on about Dinner Under the Lights, what a great event! Open bar, good food, everyone there was excited about the team, great entertainment, and good fun. I would suggest that Sac Rat reserve a few tables next year. Although the tix were $100, it was well worth it - start saving your beer money and go next year!

I know nothing about CT and what he's like, but if he's a player, bring him back, work his arse off for bad behavior, and get him back in the fold. Sounds like we need some good LB's from last years loss of the 3 amigos.
