I wish him the best and hope it all works out for him. I think he was about to do this last spring, but thought he could do better this season and get a better contract. Serbia.

Wish him well! Very good player……. Disappointed he got in the Rahe Dog house! Glad he didn’t lose his love for the sport!

He wasn't in anyone's doghouse. The season began with him as the starter. Several games in, it was clear that he wasn't producing as he did the previous year. I don't know why that was. However, a big man averaging 1 rebound per game just doesn't seem right. I guess that you could make the argument that Jones was getting them all, but most teams were outrebounding us. My grandma would get 1 per game and she has been dead for over 40 years. Wheel her coffin out and open the lid, at least one would fall in there. Cody is a great kid and a good player. Everybody wanted him to succeed. He had a similar offer last spring and turned it down to see if he could improve his chances of getting a better contract. It wasn't going to happen with the play that Bassett is getting. When the offer came up again, he had to take it. It wasn't getting any better.

This does leave us with less depth at that position. Hopefully Kozak can work through his injury rehab a bit faster.

Why stay when you can play and get paid? I wouldn't want to sit the bench. Bassett should be the starter, but the next guy in, should have been Carlson. I like Tew and feel he will be a good player for us in the future, but right now, he should have been the 3rd option.
