congratulations indeed. Will always remember that first touchdown catch in this years Causeway. It was picture perfect and so fitting to ultimately take the Hornets to a victory over the Aggies for the first time in years and assure a winning 7-5 season. Thank you D. Carter for all that you did for this program and for all that you will continue to do as the Hornet football program moves on to excellence.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sacramento State's DeAndre Carter was selected as the top wide receiver in the Football Championship Subdivision by The Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA). The second annual award recognizes the top student-athletes from FCS institutions at 11 different positions. The 2014 class includes student-athletes from 10 different institutions, representing five different conferences. Voting was conducted by a national panel, consisting of media and SIDs.
