How many UCD students does it take to change a light bulb?

None: Davis doesn't have electricity.

We have to have electricity, how else would all those hippies recharge their electric cars? :P

Too bad you don't have enough seats in your "stadium" to properly host the Causeway Classic! At least it's on TV see you next year at Hornet Stadium.

Woah there Tiger Woods. When was the last time you filled your stadium for a football game? Yeah, called supply and demand. Plus, if you went to a game at Aggie Stadium, you would realize that it is a helluva lot better than the track and field stadium you have. Can you really argue against what we have? Facility-wise all around we have you beat like a mule.

To start with Hornet Stadium seats twice as many as your place. All of the largest Causeway crowds have been at Sac. Even last years crowd of 13,000 (small by Causeway standards) when both teams were down would have been far beyond your place's capacity. To make matters worse too few tickets are available for visitors. I have been through many bad experiences trying to get in at the old stadium, (which had about the same capacity) to waste my time again. About our facilites? Have you ever heard about the Olympic Track and Field Trials? How about NCAA Division 1 Track and Field Championships?
How about the NCAA Rowing Championships? For whatever reason all of these major events chose the "inferior" facilites of little old Sac State over the facilites of U.C. Dungpile. Has ucd ever hosted a National NCAA Divison 1 Championship? I must have missed it.

That doesn't mean that your facilities are better, it means your football stadium (and football stadium only) seat more than ours does. Congrats. As for the quality, if you are trying to tell me that Hornet Stadium is in any way better than Aggie Stadium, I want what you are smoking.

That is what makes it a HOME game. Would you like it better if we gave you half of the seats? Deal with it.

Thank you for furthering my point. You have a track stadium, not a football stadium.

You really are digging deep for this one aren't you? Congrats on your world class rowing facilities. That means you have a standing body of water off Highway 50. Should I bring up Hornet Gym? What about your baseball and softball fields? And as for national championships, we might not have hosted a Division I national championship, but we have won one. Have you, I must have missed it?

Hornet Stadium is a all purpose stadium, and your point is? Our Aquatic Center is located at Lake Natoma (yours is located in the Port of Sacramento). There is nothing wrong with our baseball and soft ball facilites, we need to get a arena either on campus or play at the potential King's Arena at Cal Expo two miles away etc. there is no argument about that. Sacramento State's National Championship teams so far have been:

Softball - 1981 AIAW Div. III National Champions
Women's Volleyball - 1981 NCAA Div. II National Champions
Women's Golf - 1981 AIAW Div. III National Champions
Women's Volleyball - 1980 AIAW Div. III National Champions

With many more to follow!

So you make excuses. You can't tell me that you think Hornet Stadium is better because it seats more. That is your logic. I really could care less about rowing facilities. My high school basketball gym sat more than Hornet Gym, it is a joke. Can you at least admit that?

Way to bring up Division II and Division III championships. You must be so proud, but you dodged your own words. You asked when we ever hosted a Division I championship and I responded with have you ever won one. So I take it because there aren't any Division I titles listed there you haven't won any. Am I right?

You dug the hole, I just threw in the dirt.

U N C L E ! ! !

Why don't you both tap out, call it even steven. If yer gonna fight, at least fight over the TEAMS and not the facilities. Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the mule that Aggie rode in on!!

Green Laser, I just laughed my ass off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the funniest thing I've ever read on here...

Ive been posting some smack over at their board, those guys are pretty arrogant! All they say is that theyre a tier-1 university, other than that and the causeway record they really have nothing.

GO SAC STATE! DOWN WITH THE FOE!

Their big thing is to put down the California State University System. They look down on all the State schools. Well they lost to San Jose State, they will lose to us and the following week they will lose to Cal Poly so then they will be a 3 "tear" University! And next year our brothers down at Fresno State will join in the beat down!

UH... I know reading comprehension isn't a big strong point over at suc state, but what part of UCD being a tier-1 university and the causeway record don't you understand.

Except they are as a much a state school as we are. If they take the public dime, they are state. Besides, look at the top football programs in the nation right now: Penn STATE, Louisiana STATE, Appalachian STATE, Oklahoma STATE..............

So when the little farmers start chanting "State School" we should chant back "So Are You...So Are You!"
