In all seriousness though....if Marion proves himself a competent HC and is able to get everything out of his players, the 2025 Causeway is going to be a tough one for Davis.

Time will tell though, hopefully for Sac they haven't gotten themselves into a Ron Gould situation - great recruiter, terrible HC. Marion is a better hire than Gould was, so Sac has that going.

It's their prerogative if they want to hide behind a contract to Stetson to avoid playing us. The Causeway has been a staple in the region that predates the BSC so the conference membership is not a legitimate reason for them to discontinue the rivalry. If there is no Causeway in '26 then I don't want to hear anything about honoring tradition or being a part of the community out of their phaggoty mouths ever again.

Guys, step back from the ledge...nobody is saying anything about discontinuing the rivalry.
We are playing in '25, Davis is already booked in '26, and I bet we play again in '27.

In the future things might look different since Sac is going to be an FBS team. Davis didn't create this scheduling problem.
