GCM: I'm not a fan of the monochromatic look. Of course, we don't take it as far as the bogus NFL ColorRush uniforms. The Seahwaks in particular blinded me because they made the players look like highlighters. Give me Green on Gold or Gold on Green any day of the week. White on Green or White on Gold is good, too. Especially with the mid-'90s SAC helmets....

Looks like we’ll see throwback helmet logos this weekend according to the game preview. No sneak peak at the fit though. Might be the alternate yellow-gold?

I like the SAC or stylized 'S", don't care for the mosquito helmet.
Favorite uni's are the all whites, with white helmet.

I actually dig what you refer to as the mosquito helmet. Both the green and white helmet versions. I’d like to see them used more often.

I also dig the yellow/gold alternate jersey.

Also not a fan of the mosquito, but that is mainly because I associate it with losing (Moosh and Sears era). We've won plenty of games with the bug on the helmet under Taylor so I'm trying to change that sentiment. :lol:

We seem to kick ass in all black, so that would not be the worst. Deion got that right - look good, feel good. Feel good, play good.

I honestly don’t remember how the team fared wearing those unis. I’d definitely defer to your memory on that, although off the top of my head I thought maybe we won a Causeway wearing them?

Regardless I’m not too superstitious about that kind of stuff anyway,

Prediction from Hero Sports…

No. 24 UC Davis at No. 2 Sacramento State

Another great rivalry to end the regular season. UC Davis is in a win-and-in situation to finish 7-4 with back-to-back road wins over ranked opponents. A loss, and getting in at 6-5 on this large bubble will be tough. Sac State can secure a Top 2 seed with a win.

UC Davis has been on a tear lately, destroying its opponents, including Idaho for most of last week’s game. The offensive line has been playing at a high level, and UC Davis can score on you quickly with some explosive athletes. Sac State’s defense will have to play one of their better games. The Hornets can also score in a multitude of ways, and their ground game has proven to be tough to fully contain.

This is going to be a battle. But it seems every week when we think Sac State could lose, it finds a way to win. This may be another big Asher O’Hara game on the ground to control the clock and keep UC Davis’ offense off the field.

Prediction: Sac State 35-31
