The interception and the decision to go for a first down instead of punting were the major mistakes by the Lobos and they were forced by the Vikings. The face mask penalty happened when the Lobo rusher was grabbing frantically for an elusive Sawyer Smith. The Vikings running the ball out of the end zone on a punt to the 12 yard line was seriously stupid.
