In October this was the match up I was hoping for. That the conference crown would be decided with a game against the fighting sioux. Both teams have earned this right to tangle for the conference championship and the right to represent the Big Sky in the Dance.

We Are Weber!! This is where we belong!

Amen to that

Hopefully the third time against the Hawks will be a charm. My username seems ominous, though. (Seahawks fan).

Sheesh. We look solid offensively, but we're on pace to give up 90+ points. It's time to finally play a little defense.

What a game of runs. Up 10 again, and then North Dakota goes on an 8-0 run. This is gonna come down to the wire.

I really don't understand going to more of an iso game with 5 minutes to go, that is not what their offensive success has been. Luckily, they've gotten some calls.

Thank you Senglin and thank you Rahe for changing an offense that is working to selfish, iso-style, often forcing a bad shot with the shot clock running out!

Weber State coach, Randy Rahe, is one of the best coaches in America. Period.

I just watched one of the best coached teams in America. Period. At about the 5 minute mark in regulation, Weber had absolutely no business going to OT, let alone losing this game. Very disappointing!

Oh well crap, we had that one won. Can't win them all

Good season Weber, maybe we can get a post season bid somewhere. If not see you next year.

Congrats North Dakota

End of game strategy disappoints once again...but high energy throughout this game may have caught up with some tiredness...Fighting Hawks earned a big win, their 1st trip to the Big Dance. Good Luck!

Wildcats should be playing yet again, will it be NIT, CIT or CBI?? Several sportscasters have Utah & BYU going into the NIT, a possible matchup of Weber State with one or the other could be a exciting possibility? :twocents:

It won't be NIT, we will most likely get CIT, but CBI is not out of the question

You're likely correct...was kind of wishful thinking...maybe the Wildcats can have a nice run in the CIT again, that maybe wishful thinking also, but I feel they deserve a bid somewhere for ending as 2nd place in the BSC tourney, beating the #2 seed. :twocents:

I honestly think that the only way Weber doesn't get some kind of post season invite is if they refuse an invite.

I want to get to the dance more than anything but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy our last CIT run

Weber had some mistakes and some missed free throws there at the end of regulation that hurt but you got to give North Dakota some credit they hung in there and played to win it.I can't imagine the pressuref these kids go through in these situations. I'm proud of this team playing as hard as they did.Hopefully Weber can play some more this year and also I'm already looking forward to next year.

Despite the meltdown in the final minutes, I still feel less shitty about this one than I did with all three losses to Montana in the championship game over the past 8 years. UND was the best team this year. We weren't far behind, and they got the best of us all three times.

That last 5 mins was like going to the dentist. Painful, painful, painful! Happy for the Sioux and they deserve all the accolades they've earned. They will represent the conference well and I'll be cheering for them. Weber, had that game. An absolutely shame the Cats ran out of gas. Tough ending for this team. We will see if the Cats keep playing next week.
