CHIAVERINI RECORD

For those who think Chiaverini was not experienced enough of not good enough I offer the following results of his long coaching career. He has been recognized for his recruiting efforts and named top-recruiter by multiple sports publications with his recruiting classes ranked among the best.
COLORADO - named receiver coach and recruiting coordinator in 2016. Colorado had the biggest turnaround in the country that year going from 4-9 in 2015 to 10-3 in 2016. Became OC and set CU records with 500= yards per game with 50 Td's and 33 ppl. Became interim head coach in 2020. Rival's.com named him one of the top 25 recruiters in the nation for the years '18,'19 & '20.
UCLA 2022 - OC with 40 pts per game and 508 yards.
Chaffey College - head coach in 2023. In the two seasons before his arrival there the team went 2-18. In his first year he went undefeated at 11-0 and was named the top JC recruiter in the country. Averaged 46 ppg.
NORTHEASTERN -in 2024. Huge turnaround in wins in second year from 2-9 to 9-3. 40 points per game with 65 TD's, both records for that school.
This man has a sparkling resume far exceeding Kjar in experience at higher levels. I wonder if the only reason he wasn't named head coach at Weber was because Crompton wanted a local guy, especially a Mormon. That is the only area where Kjar's record exceeds what Chiaverini brings to the table. I finish my case. The incompetence in this selection is mind-blowing!

I guess we will never know if Chiverani could have gotten the Wildcats an 8-4 record next year before he moved on to New Mexico State the following year as a receivers coach/co-offensive coordinator. 🤷🏻

Darrin was NOT the OC for UCLA in 2022. He was listed as a senior analyst and it was Chip Kelly as the OC. Darrin NEVER called any offensive plays for UCLA. Seeing as I’m just as big a Bruins fan as I am a Wildcats fan I can assure you that is factual inaccurate to list him as such.

So I have found out that when Crompton called the Northeastern AD on Monday morning he told their AD that Chiaverini was his pick. He then discussed Chiaverini further with the AD and at one point the AD told Crompton that "Chiaverinin would be a load to handle" but he was a great coach. A few hours later Crompton announced Kjar as the WSU coach. It seems that Crompton decided that he did not want a coach who was difficult to handle. In my experience (vast) I know that if any person is really good and gets top notch results in his work he will also be a difficult person to handle. A boss over anyone should seek out, hire and embrace those who might be a little difficult to handle if his first desire is to win! With this coaching decision Crompton proves that he is not strong enough to take on managing successful people who will demand much from him along the way to success. In not selecting the challenging choice Crompton shows that he is not seeking the highest levels of success from his underlings.
