According to verbal commits he's a Wildcat!

@VerbalCommits: 2014 Otero JC (CO) G Chris Golden has committed to Weber State. (HT @JucoJunction) http://t.co/vpAVkUIxBx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Might be a real good find. Averaged 20.4 per game last year, but in his last 4 games he averaged 30/game. Shot 87.5% from the line. Overall shooting percentage from the floor not great, though, at 38%.

According to Roy, Golden only averaged 13ppg. Where did you find your stats Prof? Or is the 13ppg a two year average for the Otero guard? No matter, Otero JC has a strong program, and plays some fairly stiff competition. I like how Golden has a knack at getting to the free throw line and has a great FT average. He could be on the verge of having a couple of really strong seasons. He gives the players coming in the option of Red Shirting if they need to. I think he is a good pick up. I really like his game. Golden is going to be a great addition to the Wildcat program.

Yeah, I just realized I've been looking at his FR numbers. LOOOOL :rofl: Thanks for adding his most current stats.

I don't like seeing 5-19 and 7-18 from 3 in some games though. He isn't going to have that long of a leash here.

Wow! This kid jacks up a lot of shots. Damian was scoring that much on half the shots. I'm sure that the coaches will want him to be a little more selective. His FT % would indicate that he has a good stroke. It looks like his team didn't have much else and he had to be the main guy. That won't be the case at WSU. On the other hand, you want someone with that kind of confidence. Someone not afraid to step up when needed.
