CIT Rd 1: UVU @ Weber State

The whole 'Hunsaker' thing goes deeper than what you see on the surface. There has been more than one player from the Macarthy era who has told me that Hunsaker was the coach who did the majority of the work behind the scenes. It has never beem about his ability to coach and it wasn't about Macarthy either. Hunsaker continued on as an assistant after Macarthy. There has, obviously, been a lot of water under the bridge since the Macarthy era and the water continues to flow. Probaly best to let it all go.

We have a very good coachinf staff. They are young and eager. We are getting better each and every year. Our coaches are learning and getting better as well. Lets just hope that we can keep this good thing going.

This is pathetic we have not played an instate Division I basketball program in 7 years. I dont care who is at fault or why. There is no valid excuse for no games. We are not BYU-UT. There is no need for us to insult other schools. I have heard rumors it is UVU's fault but after nearly a decade...?

After the 2006 game Hunsaker vowed he would never play Weber again as long as he was still UVU's coach. Looks like he doesn't have a choice on this one. Haha.

Why is it so nice to go back to Ogden if you vowed to never return while you were head coach :wtf:

Wildcat, Coach Hunsaker is a Wildcat. He has been since he first stepped onto our campus back in 74. He hates having to play his school. He should have been our head coach in 86, but the pride of the AD was too much to overcome. I've heard rumours that the AD/Administration wanted to get rid of anything and everything associated with McCarthy. I guess, we hate to much of a good thing. Thats why I laugh when people start attacking Rahe. What people, do you want to go back to Cravens, or worse, the Farmer years? If you are soo hard up for bad basketball, you can go watch the St. Joe womens' team.

I don't get why Weber honors an AD that virtually killed our basketball program. Not only did he hire the worst coach in school history over Hunsaker, but started a policy where fans had to pay for parking. DUMB DUMB DUMB.

I respectfully ask that you stop dragging my name through the mud continually, or I will be in contact with my lawyers to pursue defamation of character and slander. BTW, my own personal opinion is that Hunsaker is a no talent Hack with a bad TV anchorman hair cut.

If, or more appropriately, after Weber beats the Wolverines tonight (I'm hoping this happens). Who is the second round opponent? Is Utah State really going to be coming to Ogden again or will the tourny organizers send someone else to Ogden? There is speculation that the UCSB vs. Idahoe winner will be coming to Ogden.
