Coach Collins

He is 8-34 at his time at UNC and 16-46 as a head coach all time. Just stating the facts. Oh, and has lost 2 games to d2 and NAIA opponents.

So I have seen numerous posts here about Head Coach Collins. My only question is this, is this his final season in Greeley?

That's the million dollar question. He did sign a new contract but it has a termination clause.

He'll be back, this Dunn guy doesn't seem like much of a mover and shaker... I'm getting the impression he's a Monfort lacky, sort of the Dan O'Dowd of Greeley.

How can you say Dunn is not a mover and shaker ? Geez he's done more in 9 months than Hinrichs did in 9 years . Just because he has not fired Collins ?

I agree. We should give him time, as we hasn't been on the job for even a year. Let's give him the benefit of doubt and see where things are in Jan.

In most cases when a school gets a new A.D. they typically like to get one of "their guys" in as coach as soon as they have a reason too. It will be interesting to see if that happens at UNC.

Giving him time is fair, but if he is going to make a change it needs to be immediately after the season ends. Waiting until January would be extremely detrimental to recruiting.

Very true. I'll fix that. We should wait until the end of November.

I second that. We cannot wait for another national search BS. If it happens it all needs to go down quick and smooth. Like I said earlier, I bet there is already chatter going on under the table.

I too, would not be surprised if some preliminary exploration of potential candidates is going on behind the scenes.
