Since the coaches from Downing's staff did not make the list, I am really curious to see what the take is from the current and formet players. Lets hope whoever they pick has really good leadership abilities.

While Wristen has done good for the CSU Peublo program, his PR history is not a good one. Multiple run ins with the law

Yeah I've cooled on Wristen, I read something on the ebuffs site that maybe he had a domestic incident while he was on the CU staff a few years back. Again, I know nothing about that, can't confirm a thing but just that is was mentioned on their board.

Also, doing a little research on what he's done in Pueblo on the surface it seems impressive to build a contending program so fast but from what I've seen they were bankrolled pretty heavy, that stadium they built is light years beyond anything else in the RMAC so I'm begining to wonder if it was such a great job he's done afterall.

After reading more about Breske I'm beginning to lean that way.

He knows UNC, he knows the Big Sky, he's more old school and defensive minded.

I'm trying to remember the Breske years. Wasn't our defense a kind of bend but don't break type and I remember him as a risk taker type as far as blitzing and stunting and I kind of liked that. I remember our defense coming up with some really big plays. So if he is the guy, how does our offensive strategy gonna shake out?? Does he have anybody in mind for OC or is he thinking of Peterson ?? Any thoughts on a Breske offense ??

My only concern with Breske is this: He might be too passionate. While Downing was too laid back, Breske is the opposite. Sometimes verbally abusive towards players. I'm sure the convenience stores and gas stations around town will be happy he's back. He always kept them in business with his chewing tobacco habit.

I like the list.
I know Breske and Collins. I think either would be good.
Personally I would still like to see Stitt get the job as I think he has the best head coaching resume as he has been doing it the longest in a very tough environment. Mines facilities suck and they have the toughest admissions standards by far in the RMAC. That is a tremendous disadvantage to overcome so it says something to me.
I know nothing about Wristen but he seems to have done a fine job in an upstart program which is not easy even if you have money.
Boyle does the least for me.

Ever see what Dalton used to say to the players? Breske is a cupcake considering that so I don't think it is a big issue.

Yes, I did see what Dalton said to players and I don't want that again.

On another note, the Tribune just now says that all but Stitt and Breske have confirmed their interest. This must include Earnest Collins, who I thought just signed another contract with Alcorn. What's up with that? ttp://www.greeleytribune.com/article/20101209/SPORTS/712099997/1051&ParentProfile=1001

I vote Breske

Everyone on the Montana site is saying that it would be horrible for them to lose Breske.

You know the drill.

Hey Brian, could you put an option in for "None of the Above"?

I thought about it when I made the poll but decided since this is what we have, we might as well face it. Also, all five have to be better than Downing right?
