• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Coaches Show Tonight!

Time for a little self-promotion...

First edition of the Coors Light Coaches Show airs tonight at 6, but anyone in the area is welcome to join us at Cables (20th St./59th Ave.) for the show...

During basketball last year, we began to bring in a nice group of those around the two programs, and would like to see as many Bears fans as possible with us each week.

Plus, its a nice break from politics :)

I wish recordings of these would be made available on uncbears.com. It would be great to be able to listen to them the next day. You know, a nice break from work :)

Good point! A podcast would be fantastic for my drive to work. I will try and listen online (depending on when I get my kids to bed).

Just a thought.... it must be hard doing coaches shows and games when the team has not been doing well for such a long period of time. In the beginning there is always hope but once the team is 0-3 or 1-5 it must get old fast. At least there is a variety with the basketball teams (and they seem to do fairly well).

Hey, I just found a free tool to add to your browser that will record streaming audio and save it as an mp3: http://all-streaming-media.com/record-audio-stream/FreeCorder-Toolbar-Free-sound-recorder-software-Windows.htm

Regarding podcasts: yes, its something that's been considered. The #1 issue is storage space online, and its a conversation that will continue. Personally, I'd also like to make archived game broadcasts available for a fee, and get out of the selling of CD's...That's more for our high school broadcasts, but would be a nice solution.

Item bump: Wednesday at Cable's again...Keith there has cleared this deal for all--$2 draft pints, all on tap beers.

With the admirable performance @ Purdue and the release of the 2009 (and CSU in 2011) schedule there are lots of positive things to talk about.

Troy, I'm sure you'll find a diplomatic way to ask about the special teams, perhaps an emphasis on this during the bye week would be a great suggestion!

How did the coaches show go? I ran out to get NHL09 for my Xbox360 and forgot all about it.
