1) Tingey mentioned on the 1st coaches show that ISU has loosened some of the academic restrictions as it pertains to recruiting student athletes. What does this mean to the football team? Can Coach Kramer elaborate as well compare ISU's (UPDATED) requirements to the rest of the BSC?
2) Can Coach Kramer talk some on the new kids in the program that have came aboard in the last few weeks? Does he anticipate any other players joining the program in the coming weeks?
My guess to your question would be because Arias is the most important player on the team due to inexperience with the other quarterbacks.
You simply can not increase his injury risk to any degree so he's been told 'don't run...don't scramble, avoid the hit if you can but simply go down if you are in trouble or throw the ball away...
1. I know Coach Kramer is a fan of tradition and that is why ISU will have white helmets as did the 2002 team. But what about the orange helmets (I believe all pics are Black and white) of the 1981 national championship team. To help get more community involvement, If we as fans could get some fundraising and a fan design competition done for new helmets other than white. Would you support that?
