Nice to see everyone getting good PT and distributing the ball around. Wouldn't it be crazy if we had 5 guys averaging double digits this year? :shocking:

Holy crap. Mook's arms look like wiskey barrels. That guy's a beast! :notworthy:

Anyone know why Fields didn't play last night? And is Richardson still hurt? Wheelwright looked good, but would love to have Richardson out there.

Good all around game played by everyone, I think Jordan is ok, but they might be saving him for Friday. Fields Redshirted

Im thinking (if we are way ahead at halftime) that our starters might only play the first 25 minutes of the game, and stringers will come in in the last 15.

I'm gonna make a prediction.....K-Bull will lead all scorers

K-Bull- 17
D-Lill- 16
Scotty B- 13

Richardson is still injured. I think that Fields is red shirting. I had thought that Wheelwright was red shirting, as well, but he played last night. I'm not really sure what is going on with that situation. Dame and Bam had an off shooting night and we still shoot nearly 60%, 43% from 3, as a team. Defense was great in the first half, but let up a little in the second half. Turnovers, 8; we can live with that. Assist to turnover ratio, 2.6, as a team. That is outstanding. The freshmen played well.

All in all, a good exhibition game.

Wheelwright is suppose to redshirt too. I don't know why Fields didn't get any PT, since he is scheduled to Red-shirt. I guess in Exhibition games Red-shirts can play. I like Fields ability, but he needs some time to grow up. I hope he realizes how much the Wizard can help him develop from a good/talented player, into a great player. He has the ability to become something special for Weber, but he has to cut his pride and listen to the coaches. Positive attitude and improved effort (he works hard) is what he needs. I'm thinking he will be fine. He is a smart guy and a good kid. Everything will work out for him.

Richardson, should be ready to go on Friday. At least I hope so. He needs a game to get the rust out and be ready for USU. As for Wheelwright...Yikes...that guy is going to be scary good. An extra year, as a red-shirt, will make him that much more dangerous.

Good game last night. I liked how the Cats played. Of course, UCCS isn't that great, but it was good to see the Cats play someone other than themselves. It seemed that Lillard was playing half-speed at times, allowing the other guys to get into the offense. All in all though, it was a fun game to watch.

Someone has to redshirt. They can't all play this year. Bagging on a player is unnecessary especially an 18 year old fresh. All players have room to improve. He is no different than the others.

:shocking: Agreed! (click on the pic to see it bigger)

Fields seamed detached, I watched him as the bench was very loud and cheerful last night, Fields body language said it all. I hate seeing that sh*t.
