Heading in to the season, our schedule looked pretty easy with no NAU, no Montana and no North Dakota. But after the first week, with EWU beating Wazzu (with a QB from McMinnville) and Cal Poly playing Nevada toe to toe, and the Grizzlies and Hawks struggling (as well as ourselves), maybe our schedule isn't so easy. Still, great to get the first game over with a win. On to San Jose.

For what it's worth, Sagarin has San Jose rated at 101, while we're down around 120. We'll be the underdogs, but we can win it.

I forgot to add: Tulsa beat San Jose last week 45-10, primarily with the rush (300 odd rushing yards). San Jose rushed for 53 yards. I'm hoping our rush will do as well.

I was reading the San Jose fan forum and there are some expressing some concern because of our record last year (especially the North Texas game). There are others predicting we are going to have our butts handed to us. But for the most part, they are still smarting over the results of the Tulsa game and calling for the firing of their coach.
