It is time to move on from Barneyball. Since 2015 he is 9 and 30 against Big Sky opponents.

The problem isn't Barnum. The main problem is the idea that the offense can't outscore whatever the defense gives up. The conference used to be based on that notion but now it is becoming more where you need defense to win. Barnum is an offensive coach and the offense is clicking. Starting the game down 28-0 against Hawaii and this past game, down 35-7 to Idaho in a strong indication of the problem. Maybe it is time to bring in a new defensive coordinator. Next day's headlines should not be "Our comeback fell just short, we just ran out of time". We have the talent on offense to compete, we just don't have the defense.
