Conference Tournament Upsets...

I noticed #1 seed Robert Morris lost its tournament. Also, 20 loss team Liberty won its conference tournament beating Charleston Southern .

Anybody know of any other conference top teams to lose their tournaments??

It is teams like this that WSU can benefit from. These teams are guaranteeing themselves play-in-games and 16/15 seeds.....

Here is to high hoping!!!! :thumb: :thumb:

Also, Florida Gulf-Coast was the # 2 seed, and beat #1 seed Mercer. First ever appearance for FGC. They will be a play-in or 16 seed for sure... Also, #4seed Iona beat #1 seed Niagara In MAAC play..

Joe Lundardi now has Montana as a 14 seed but still playing Michigan. According to his bracket math, Montana is two spots from a 13 seed. Weber has better index ratings than Montana. So I think if the ball bounces right, we can win and get a 13.

#1 Middle Tennese State and #2 Arkansas State each lost in the SunBelt tournament... The champion will be either a #5 or #6 seed team...

Wow, If Weber is able to win, our seed could keep going up if other conf tourneys end up like the Sun Belt Tourney. :shocking:

I think the ceiling is a 13 seed. The last few at large bids are usually 12 seeds, so I think that is where the thresh hold will be. But I would not complain with a 13 seed.

Watched the Horizon League championship last night, and Wright State had a guard on thier team named Reggie Arceneaux............wonder if there is any relation to another well known Arceneaux?

Bucknell beat Lafayette 68-56 last night. The Bucknell Bison have punched thier ticket

Bucknell is a good team. I still think Weber could beat every team that has punched their ticket so far. With the exception of Gonzaga, but BYU made a run at them, and I think Weber could also. Nice knowing that none of the #1 seeds will be over powering this year.
