More than once. This is great news for both Cal Poly and Davis. I am really looking forward to seeing Sac State back on the schedule on a regular basis. I will be one of the fans that will make every game that Cal Poly plays in Hornet Stadium. I think that it is good for Sac State because it add to the Causeway Classic and brings Cal Poly back to Hornet Stadium every other year which will be good for the gate.

Glad everyones back home again in the same conference again Slostang! Good luck against the Griz Saturday!
Thanks. After the way we played last Saturday we are going to need a little luck this Saturday.

Welcome Poly and Davis! This move makes the sky much more attractive. If we could get SJSU in it would be perfect.

Now lets see if Wanless tries to get us into the Big West. That seems to be the next point of contention.

Good luck Saturday Poly! Keep on loosing Davis!

I was excited to hear Cal Poly was coming to the Sky, but about threw up when I heard the manure pile gets to come also(I think Poly had to offer the twofer to get in). Now they are in the Sky, the A-A-A-A-A-gies will be bringing sheep(as their cheerleaders) to the Causeway Classic. They will be lined up cheering their favorite A-A-A-A-Agies on.

What next, Open Enrollment South Utah?

HornetHope,

Marginally funny. Now please get back to your day job sweeping the floors and cleaning the toilets of my company, before I fire you.

I think she meant barnyard stalls. Either way, if you had read some of the gems she has posted on here, you know damn well she isn’t capable of running a company, let alone owning one.

You own a toilet company?

No, no GCM, "toilets" are aggie slang for dishware, you know, like plates.

Aren't you fans just a little miffed? Just consider you spent nearly twenty years in the Big Sky - spending good money to send your teams to Cheney and Pocatello, when most of your sports teams could have been busing down I-5 to the LA Metro Conference (otherwise known as the Big West). Now Cal Poly and UCD get all the benefits of Big Sky football without any of the costs.

I think this puts to rest the WAC move. Without UC Davis or Cal Poly coming with us it wouldn't make sense.
The whole thought was to have regional rivalries with other FBS schools. That couldn't happen now without
the other 2 schools. Well at least in my opinion.

I would take the opposite approach: Sac State has to move before UCD is ready, otherwise Sac State can be shut out of ever going FBS if UCD gets there first. Sac State survived in the Big Sky without any California school. In the WAC, there's San Jose State.

Which is why Sac needs to get everything in the Big West ASAP. If the BSC is willing to hand out football only memberships to schools unwilling to commit to full member status, we should demand the same thing. Plus if the WAC does die, our baseball team (and to a lesser degree gymnastics) will need a home.

Exactly, they are a football stadium expansion away from having everything in place. Either way, cp and cal-davis will soon find EWU, NAU, ISU, etc won't draw any more than UND, USD, and SUU...add the fact that they will also see their numbers in the loss column start to mount with playing teams like UM, MSU, WSU, and EWU week in and week out.

Exactly, its a lot different playing one or two BSC teams a year than playing eight in a row. The BSC is a physical conference and really takes a toll on a team if you don't have the depth or durability to compete.

As a conference, the Big West does not sponsor gym. There are a couple of schools that have it, but they're for the most part in the WAC with us.
