Congrats Hornets

NMSU Aggie fan just wanting to congratulate Sac State and Jeff Flemming (former NMSU QB) for the fantastic win.

Also wondering if Sac State fans would like to move up to FBS football and join the WAC? Great town, great market and even though the WAC has lost much of glamour it's still a long established conference in FBS. What do you guys think?

Thanks,,,, also a nmsu fan,,, i know a few of your players,,hey i was thinking why sac don't move up too.. but i really like the playoff system .thats just my opinion!!!good luck on season...maybe some day wac!!!!p.s. the whole bigsky move too fbs lol

Add a couple of west coast teams, like Cal Poly and Portland State. Maybe kick in a little extra cash to help upgrade our facilities and divide the conference into East and West divisions. Improve the WAC's tv contract with ESPN because you now have Sacramento, Portland, Denver, Seattle and San Antonio in the mix and then I'm game.

Thanks for the congrats.
We had another guy from the scout board come on here inquiring about the same thing not too long ago. Basically it all comes down to money. If a move to the WAC can cover the added costs of scholarships, increase in coaches salaries, staffing, and over the long run better facilities; I have no problem with such a move. Until then, if it doesn’t make dollars, it doesn’t make sense.
