The state board today approved three-year contract extensions for Bill Evans, Seton Sobelewski and Chad Teichert. Congrats to all three, they have all done good jobs.
The board also acknowledged Boise State Coach Leon Rice's newfound leverage by agreeing to give him a $100,000 raise to almost $600,000 per year. Evans, by contrast, will make $104,000 in base pay, plus $20 K a year for media work and a number of incentive opportunities.
Seton will earn base pay of $98,000, plus $5,000 for media work and a whole package of incentives as well. One of the interesting clauses I came across in Seton's contract is that he gets 3 percent of revenue from all "money games" if the team loses, and 5 percent of the revenue if they win.
