Here is a video of the three star recruit.

If he did visit, I didn't get a chance to see this young man play. I was at the Dee on Friday, but the guys had just finished playing. Jermain Boyette was there talking to Randy. I talked to them briefly. Jermain is still playing professionally, in Japan. I have kinda missed 'Superman'. :thumb: :thumb:

I'm not sure I see if he's going to help us. Competition looks weak and he doesn't seem that athletic. Standards are only going to get higher as quality of recruits seems to rise. I think we have walk ons today more worthy of scholarships than this recruit. It's going to be an interesting 4-5 years post Lillard era.

I think you are absolutely right Mid. Henderson is a good basketball player. He is solid fundamentally and plays with the right attitude, but he doesn't seem as skilled as other players we are recruiting and bringing into the program. I'm not so sure the coaching staff is very high on him right now. Whatever happens, I only hope the best for him.

Do you think maybe it has to do with trying to win Omar Sherman over? Did he come in for a visit and say I have this buddy Henderson, we are thinking about going to Wichita together. You should give him a look and bring him in.

Omar has a friend on the team already. :kisswink:

I have a feeling the students will be chanting, He's a Freshman quite a bit this season too.

I don't see the coaching staff playing that game. You have to admit that Weber is not a program in which the inmates run the asylum.

I'm just saying.....

If Weber would have wanted him, he would have been a Wildcat. Who knows why we decided to pass on Henderson, if we did, you never know about information you receive, and how reliable it is, but no matter, he is a good player and person and I wish him the best. Nice pickup by Wichita St.

Come on Tal, Weber didn't want him because we saw more potential in Hayden Hunter. That is why the Randy and staff passed on Henderson. Maybe they didn't like his attitude or that his game wouldn't fit in here at Weber. Regardless, he has found a place to call him for the next few years and I think that is great for him. Good luck and lets hope if the Cats meet Henderson's team in the future that it is a good and injury free game. :kisswink:
