We lost at least 3 starters to serious injuries vs PSU, a couple of which it looked like were season ending.
I feel bad for the guys who have done sooo much for the team and have their career cut short of the playoffs.
Go Eags, Next man up!

Has anyone heard anything about all the guys on crutches during last night’s game? Can we still make a deep run being so banged up?

Damn.

I’m also interested in knowing Alcobendas status. He suited up but didn’t play so hopefully it’s something the bye week will help out with.

How serious? What type of injuries? “Season-ending” huh?

Please don’t make assumptions, how do you know how serious the injuries are? You don’t. :coffee:

I didn’t listen to Larry & Paul, so probably missed it, but Paul in the postgame brought up “chippy play” by PSU. Did dirty play cause injuries?

There was several low shots at legs on our team by PSU, more than usual. PSU has a reputation of playing dirty against us for several years now and it just seems a little unusual to have 3 guys go out with lower leg injuries in the first half.

Team has to get back and get MRIs before official injuries are given, but at this point I think it’s safe to assume at least Fettig and Prunty might be done. Hope I’m wrong but neither were putting any weight on legs and were on crutches. Williams had crutches with ice, but did have some weight while walking.

Prunty was the only guy who looked bad when he was down. The other guys were walking around just fine afterwards. We've got two weeks. Trainers just need to get busy. They'll be fine.

A lot of after the whistle bs last night on what I could see and the ref's stood there and watched it. 2 flags and it would have stopped. that crew was horrible and the Vikes were classless. No character. Not surprised at the injuries, but couldn't see them happen on the broadcast as quality was poor (camera work, pixellated, buffering)

Regarding "Offs": Two eagles were called for targeting, one on offense, both canceled after review, but still resulting in game delays, harassment of accused Eagles, and unnecessary distractions of team and coaches. Fans held their end-of-first-half applause in respect of three Eagles leaving on crutches, but celebrated with the victors after the game. Comment: I sympathize with our team that didn't arrive home in Cheney until about 0500 Saturday morning following the late-scheduled game, and especially for those suffering in pain from injuries. Team travel for 7:00 PM or later games, requiring six hours or more bus travel each way should be by plane. I am so proud of our entire 2018 Eastern Eagles Champion Football Team. Thank you!

Per pre practice press conference, Fettig is done for the year which sucks big time. Everyone else is expected back or questionable at the least.

Eags have able depth at Safety but Fettig will be missed. Guy flew around and made plays everywhere. Thanks for the update.

No and neither did the Dr as we were standing behind the training table and saw what was going on, but knew it was not good.
Any word on Sise?
