• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Here's a weird question from left field... With Fettig out and Prunty banged up, we're a little short in the defensive back position. Anfernee Gurley, one of the best DBs on the roster is redshirting following an injury in week #1. Given the new redshirt rules, can he play now and still redshirt? I'd assume so.

Obviously, the big question mark would be his fitness. Even if he's healed and feeling good, that wouldn't mean he's ready to play.

I had these exact same thought reference Gurley, and a couple of other guys as well.

I'm not seeing any verbiage that says those players can't be used in the playoffs. Couldn't find the actual rule, just the NCAA announcement. Obfuscation to the level of art form.

Also think there are plenty of already redshirted players available to fill the void. Criner, Hayes, Montgomery, Karstetter, Branch et.al. They have all seen playing time this season and will be ready.
