Great effort by our Bears. I listened to most of the game and we were in the game until the last 6 minutes when Wyoming hit everything. Commendable performance. Hopefully some of these type of games will fall our way !! Go Bears

Crap, I missed that we were playing. Looks like the New Mexico State game is going to be on TV this year again (if I remember right, they had some huge players on their team last year).

Yea, New Mexico still has a lot of height but its a pretty young team and they have a real busy schedule so maybe we can catch them a little tired and if I remember, we almost beat them last year.

Yeah, I was looking for the line yesterday, not realizing the game had already been played. I hate the new Events section on the website that replaced the easy to use calendar.
I believe the NMSU behemoth opted for the NBA draft, but his ‘little’ brother should still be there.

The little brother is injured and will not be playing, but they have a 6'11" 260ish player from Africa that will be playing. Should be fun...

New Mexico State game is on ESPN3 at 7pm mt.

It's also on some of the regional sports networks like Fox Sports SW, Fox Sports AZ and Altitude.

Gessh...what a poor effort on defense last night. If someone isn't willing to play tough defense, Hill needs to sit them right away. The Bears couldn't guard my dead grandpa last night.

On a brighter note...Cam Michael is a good shooter. He seems to fit Tate's vacant role nice. He needs to stick with that and not be afraid to take 3 pointers. I think we only made something like 2, 3 pointers.

I personally dislike the shot. We shot a blistering 3 for 15 at NMS last night. We are 13 for 46 this year in 3pt shooting, a whooping 28%. I get it D1 programs have to shoot it, but it works so much better when it occurs as part of the offensive flow. It's almost impossible for the Bears to have this as we do not have an inside out presense on offense. It's not our bigs fault as they are never on the block. Our set has them setting ball screens 20 ft from the basket, making it impossible for that type of movement. :twocents:
