Whoa, that is a big call moving MSU over reigning champs. But Taiwan Jones saved their bacon many times last year and now he is gone. McGhee is a stud, I predict while he is playing they will beat UM the next three years and be near the top of the BSC.

I still don't get the stock everyone put in TJ. It was BLM that ran that team, and that was proven in the Chipper when Mitchell sealed the deal. TJ was nowhere to be seen because he was out with an injury. Now TJ is gone, but BLM is still in the saddle. Until they're knocked off, I have a hard time saying ANYBODY is better than EWU.

Besides, IMO, that poll is a bit skewed in other ways, too. MSU is WAY too high, and Weber is way too low. PSU may have a few surprises for folks this year, too.

Looks good except I'd swap Montana with MSU and maybe even move MSU down even farther.
Does UM have you on retainer or something? :ohno:
Barring injury, no way MSU finishes worst than 3rd.

No, SD. They just have me beat down after all these years of trashing us.

Besides, they're fed up with my four years of picking MSU in hoops, something Kitty fans conveniently forget when it comes to football.

:die:

Now, that's uncalled for, dude. Are you in the pay of MSU?

Remember history, folks. MSU is notorious for following a FBS win with a D-II loss. That is theoretically possible (though the Manure Pile comes in between) again this year as the Kitties host Minot State in Week 3.

Agreed. SH may have some strong and "unique" views, but that's a little over the line. Go Sac!

You're a closet Griz fan, period. Having respect for another program is one thing, but always coming to their defense, especially when they don't need it, is unnecessary.

If you don't like the emoticons available, get rid of them. I don't have to like or agree with you. I am a Hornet fan, there is no need for me to defend ANY other program all of the time as you do. So why don't you get off the Griz's jock. :kisswink:

:butt:

Contrary to the number of posts I have, I've been on this board posting for years - see StungAlum - so it's not like I'm a noob trying to stir up crap. My old account can't be found on SacBuzz, however, it can be found and logged into on Champ Sub.

Unique? No. Most of the posts are nonsensical and irrelevant, there's always some reference to the past that no one cares about and doesnt provide any substance to the conversation. SH doesnt need anyone to come to his/her/its defense, he/she/it knows how to take banter in stride.

:kissass:

Coming to someone’s defense? No. “Plz Die” struck me as over the line regardless of who it was about. I think we can all agree that if anyone doesn’t need someone to standup for them, it’s Super “against the grain” Hornet.

A kiss a$$? No. Just a quick observation. But if you need to reach that far to see naked emoticons, knock yourself out.

Back to the topic… do I agree that MSU should be below Sac? No. They are a consensus BSC top 2 in most eyes. UM is a wild card this year. A relatively off year for them in 2010, but they bring in too much talent each year to fall too far. We can only hope that someday Sac will look at 7-4 as a “down” year! :thumb:

Go Sac!

You mean Super “against the realm of reality” Hornet. I don’t think SA2 really wants him to die, but it would be nice if SH could live in the real world with the rest of us for a change. He defends UM for anything which gets old and annoying, especially when this is a Sac State Hornet board. Having said that; SH is always free to contribute his 2 cents :twocents: , even if most of it goes completely over our heads or has no relevance whatsoever to anything.

UM will be breaking in a new QB with little experience. They will have a stout defense to rely on but if their offense struggles to move the ball and can't keep the defense off the field, they could be in for a long year. It’s sounding like the OL will be their strong point on offense. They have a couple of good receivers but again they will need to find someone who can get them the ball. With an all but certain loss in week 1 to Tennessee and a game wasted on a non-D1 opponent, they will have to go 7-2 in their other 9 games to make the playoffs.

:flash:

Back on topic now.

The original post has Sac at 4th, right below a UM team with an untested QB and a new RB. If we're just going off of last years' results, I can definitely see putting UM above Sac as they did beat Sac last season. However, when one looks at returners from last season and breaks down the games, Sac definitely belongs above UM.

I don't know how to feel about Weber, they have a lot of homer fans. It's hard to tell whether or not they're going to have a good enough squad to get into the top 4. However, if they finish at 6th, I wont be too terribly surprised.

I think the top 4 look good, I'd just switch Sac and UM.
