4 and a half hours until tip and no thread yet, so here it is. Bring yourself and as many others as possible to the game tonight, we need a big crowd.

Go Bears!!

Well that was another rough loss. Not a lot of discipline right now, especially on the defensive end.. Looking at things positively though, we return all 5 starters next year and again the year after that. These guys will improve with experience.

Last night, I was finally able to watch a UNC game this year, and man, they do not have a clue on defense. I'm not sure if it's coaching, leadership, or just lack of effort but it seems like they'd have trouble stopping even a decent HS team. I know they are young, but the defensive effort displayed last night was pitiful, and it seems like it has been that way since the season began. Something needs to change before conference play starts because CSU's offense is mediocre at best, and they were able to score at will from anywhere on the court last night.

Mediocre? 6 of 11 games to shoot better than 50%. Against a Top 10 schedule nationally. They & Wyoming are the early surprises in the Mountain West this season.

That said, yes, UNC is lacking defensively. Coach is getting tired of talking about it with me, for sure.

Talk is cheap. Just ask coach Collins.
