Several reports out of Washington state that running back Curtis Shaw has left the Washington Husky football team and may be looking to move down to play immediately. Since he's from Stockton it could be interesting to see where he lands.

I am sure there is still a bitter taste in the mouth of the coaches from the Dailey experiment. I’d be surprised if they signed this guy.

Curtis is now on the roster. Not sure if he has a scholarship, but he will bring another dimension to the run/return game. Bigger and faster than Dailey, with his own set of problems. Hopefully the coaches can get some good out of him just like Dailey last year.

Interesting. I hope it works out. If he is going to get considerable playing time, I wonder which returning RB is going to be effected the most.

Is Hilliard 100%?

The last I heard at the end of spring ball was that he was healthy and being held out just to make sure he's ready to go in the fall. No need to see what the kid can do, because we know he can run. Good move on the part of the coaching staff. Shaw can be used as a return specialist and receiver, as well as give Hilliard, Crox and McCowan a breather. This hopefully takes some pressure off of having to use Ron Douglas next year, too.

Here is the bio the Huskies had on Shaw- If his head is in the right place, he could add some additional speed:
