We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

CWU Moving Up?

Teams traveling to CWU will be faced with the same long travel challenges we have going to Southern Utah. They will have to fly into Moses Lake and have an hour plus bus ride. I think the best hotel in Ellensburg is The Motel 6 or The Days Inn.

Nothing against CWU, but I’d rather they not move to the FCS/Big Sky. I’d like us to keep our comparative advantages in recruiting without watering down our base.

Agreed, then I wonder how much will it change? They already have a pretty good football team with pretty good athletes. Some years it seems like they would be competitive in the big sky.

Central’s problem is that their league is falling apart at the seams. They were playing two games a year against each conference opponent just to round out their schedule.

However, that’s not our problem. The Big Sky has allowed itself to be a safety net one too many times already.

If there was one team fr9m that league that may, in some weird way, interest me as a Big Sky member, it’d be Simon Fraser. It’s a huge school in a huge city. They’d bring something totally different to the league.

Great point.

That's interesting. I went all the way back to 2012, and still haven't seen a winning record. Seems like they would be an embarrassment in the Big Sky.
