Dairy Yewts Nov. 26

I can easily forget the CSU loss if we beat Utah St.,

CSU was our 2nd game of the season, & like I mentioned last week I wish we had as many games to start the season off as USU before we played, but hopefully getting these freshmen into our home confines will help them relax & play some real ball. It's time for our guys to step up & slam The pencil dicck Medlin and the rest of the dairy yewts.

It sounds like the dairy yewts student section has picked itself off the ground a little bit, & will be well represented in Ogden, anyone know of what's being done to ensure a strong WSU student section.

:coffee: :coffee: FIRST OF ALL WEBER IS 0 - 2 :coffee: SECONDLY, THIS IS NOT A CIT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME :coffee: THIRDLY WSU STUDENTS COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT GOES ON ON CAMPUS (EVEN WHEN IT'S FREE) :coffee: AND LASTLY YOU DON'T HAVE A LEADER IN THE STUDENT SECTION LIKE MYSELF OR TALHAD OR CATCAT. WEBER WILL MOST LIKELY LOSE, BUT IM HOPING FOR THE WIN!!! :coffee: :coffee:

This game is NOT a must win, its a big game for sure but USU isn't a conference game and those are the ones that are must wins. Hopefully Trez can make it back from his ankle injury in time for this game because we are going to need as many weapons as we can have in this one.
Go Wildcats!!!

Ok, I was upset after we got our butts handed to us by CSU. I thought we were going to play well and have a good chance to win. We didn't play well and CSU played amazing. They had come off a tough lose to Gonzaga and you could tell came out really focused. They have a dang good coach and are a very good program even though they did lose a ton of good players off last years team. I give them lots of credit. I have a feeling we will rebound in a big way against USU like CSU did against us after getting beat down by the Zags. Its not going to be easy though. The Aggies are very good this year. Here is my position for position break down. I hope some USU fans chime in.

PG. Senglin vs. Roland Advantage EVEN
I like Senglin better because I'm a Weber fan, but Roland is a Senior and solid player so I'm going with even here.

SG Richardson vs. Medlin Advantage AGGEIS
I wish this was not the case, but Medlin is dang good even though I think he is a Punk A$$. I hope Richardson gets out of his slump this game because we need him.

SF Berry vs. Butterfield Advantage Wildcats.
I'm sure USU fans going to get mad at this pick but Berry is just over all better in all areas. I think he has a big game for us.

PF. Bolomboy vs. Davis. Advantage Wildcats
Davis looks like he has been a pleasant surprise for the Aggies, but no way he is better then Joel. I predict Joel has a big game.

Center. Tres vs. Shaw Advantage EVEN
Aggie fans will debate this, but this is too close to call for me. Both very good players. Will be a good matchup.

Bench. Advantage AGGIES
I thought we would have a good bench so far we don't. USU's is actually pretty solid.

I predict a very close hard fought game. I think we rebound and win a close game. 78-74 WEBER

I grew up going to Weber St games and attending Joe Cravens camps, I even remember when Brad Barton hit the game winner vs USU a while ago. But given all the money i've spent at usu along with watching the team for the past four years, I'm going to have to cheer for the Aggies on tuesday. So far I have really liked what i've seen from them. Medlin will light you up in a hurry, but the big guys are what has impressed me the most. Here's to a great game on tuesday and hopefully the DEC shows some glimpses of the Spectrum.

:twocents: If Weber can't beat the likes of a CSU or USU, I don't want them going to March Madness. Weber and the BSC does not need the devastating, negative focus the Griz put out on the national stage last year. If memory serves, Weber's last appearance wasn't too hot either. It's time for this program to take another step and play every game as "must win" and not be content thinking OOC is good way to get them ready for conference play which is the only "ticket" avenue. I'm all for playing up to get better but if you haven't shown any signs of being able to compete with the best, maybe you shouldn't be playing the best. The BSC hasn't had a great recent track record of preparing its conference representative for being ready to compete.

You don't want them going to the NCAA's? WTF??? Oh and don't play the big boys if you can't beat them is a really WEAK thing to say. Your argument here is so flawed it isnt even funny. :twocents:

Actually yours is completely flawed, it's beyond time for this program to elevate itself. If we can't expect our team to beat USU at home we're not the program I want to follow.

I NEVER said I dont want to win this game badly, BUT in the big picture of things this isn't a must win.

Ask Rahe if he thinks it's a must win. As we're recruiting against usu lately it sure makes his job easier when we can atleast hold serve on our own floor

The answer would be no since his whole focus is winning the conference and going to the NCAA tourney.

There are some of us fans who want to SHOUT OUT any success & pride of the Weber State Wildcats in INSTATE & in OOC games vs quality opponents!!! This year, we haven't been able to yet, but that just makes the upcoming game vs. USU as VERY IMPORTANT!! It may not be MOST important. We know Coach Rahe's top priority is winning in conference games, but my bet is he was angry & maybe a mite embarrassed with the result of the CSU game, as were some fans like me! It's about RESPECT for the team & for the conference!! I'm with 'SWWeatherGuy' & 'WeberSki' and others who make some VALID points!! And 'ajwildcat' is right in some points also, but until Weber State & Big Sky teams start beating (more than rarely) a good mid/high major team, they will get little or no respect. Important to show tough vs Aggies!! GO WILDCATS, make us proud (win or lose, if they compete, I'm proud). :twocents:
