Lillard, a former Weber State All-American, will be in attendance at the event to celebrate his past season with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The event will be held at The Junction in downtown Ogden from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on June 15. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., the first 500 fans will receive an autographed Damian Lillard picture.

He will be joined by Weber State University President Chuck Wight, WSU Athletic Director Jerry Bovee, men’s basketball head coach Randy Rahe, Ogden City Chief Administrative Officer Mark Johnson and Ogden City Council chairman Bart Blair. Lillard will be presented with a key to the city and with a proclamation recognizing him for his success.

As part of the celebration a question and answer segment will be held with Lillard about his NBA season, which will be included as a Google Hangout for live streaming of the event. Google will promote the event to its more than two million Google+ followers. Fans are encouraged to submit questions to be asked at the event via Weber State’s Athletics Facebook, Google+ or Twitter pages.
