He has had torn ACL's in both of his knees, Old injuries while at JC. I saw him suited up but he did not play. I believe that Josh Evans is better, that is why he plays. They also substitute Phil Humphry in at Nose and move Casey Tyler out to End, I saw Travis Beckly in for a couple plays as well at end. It was nice to see them keeping the D-Line fresh and substituting a lot.

Thought Cole Smith and Casey Tyler played excellent, Josh Evans did a good job pressuring the QB as well.

Dan K actually was in the lineup for a couple of plays. He was wearing a knee brace on each knee which looked similar to the ones worn by the offensive linemen. It would seem that the braces might limit his mobility which couldn't be good for a D-end.

It looks like Beckley is taking playing time from Dave Howell. I thought Howell would be a force on the D-line.
