They will definitely be a tough team to play. They're playing much better lately. The one thing I think we might have going for us is that 12 of KU's wins came in the 50s, 60s, or low 70s. I like that pace of play for our team. Nothing will be easy about this game, but I know our guys will be ready to go!

*Note...last time EWU was in the state of Indiana they beat Indiana. It's a sign...let's unleash HeavyIsTheCrown on the Kansas message board. EWU are 11pt underdogs to start with.

Just saw a guy on ESPN put the eags in a group of 4 teams that were sleepers and he said one of those teams was going to the Sweet 16. I love it. Man I hope so!!! I have a feeling we're really going to show up in a big way this Saturday. I've heard some KU fans that think they've got this game in the bag cause they've heard EWU can't defend.

Ha, the Zags scored 100 on them and we drink the same water! :lol:
 
Anybody heard where the Eagles are staying? I think of the logistics of housing, feeding, transporting 64 teams and staff, scheduling practice, on and on. And officials and NCAA staff. WOW. How far outside of Indy do some teams stay.

good stuff 98, if I read that right they will be without 6'8 rebound machine Jalen Wilson. Besides his 12+pts a game he has 75 more rebounds this season than the nearest guy. The other two missing haven't been with the team so they haven't been practicing but will will make it possibly for the EWU game. interesting indeed.

Two of my friends who bet on games regularly (not me...I suck at betting) mentioned that to me on Monday. I just needed to find articles/proof. I find it interesting/sad that more people are not picking up on this.
I get that we are the underdog, but no one is telling the whole story regarding this game.
 
Ball handling will be huge in this game. They had 2 more steals per game but the Eags had 1 more block per game. No stat on turnovers. They had 45 rebounds per game we only had 31 per game. Lots of defense and smart passing and the points will come.

Looks like they're down two players I hate getting too excited because in the past we played a teams who were down players due to suspensions (Youngstown state) in football and we got our butts handed to us so not trying to look too much into it but this is an interesting interview especially the first part.
